Also known as Click Exchanges/Visitor Exchanges/Surf4Hits programs. It is important you understand how they work and make sure you use them! Some of our members have been marketing online for 4+ years and we have yet to see a technique that works better than the one we are using to grow your Opt-In List than Traffic Exchanges - they really do work! Most Traffic Exchanges are free to join, and they generate traffic to your website. Yes they actually generate traffic to whichever web url you specify for free! Here's how it works. When you join a Traffic Exchange, you can add your website (or Lead Capture Page, or Splash Page) to the program. Then you view other members' websites in exchange for having your website shown to others. Simple! Typically when you have visited 2 other members webpages you earn 1 visit back to your own webpage, although each one works a little differently, and in most cases there is a pro (paid) option to increase your surf/view ratio. Did that make sense? This is done by using a special surfing url that you are given when you join. It will load a webpage and then a timer will start counting down. Most Traffic Exchanges use 20-30 second timers. You can actually see the time counting down, and once it reaches zero you are ready to view the next page. You can then click on the 'next' button, or in many cases a number, picture or color and you start again with a new webpage and timer. Hang in there, 'cause this really works! The trick is using multiple Traffic Exchanges at the same time. We will explain this further and show you how to do it but first you need to know how to set up a Traffic Exchange so that it sends traffic to the right place. This is easy so don't worry :o) Now, although many thousands of would-be Internet Marketers have seen the value of Traffic Exchanges, it is amazing at how many are still doing it all wrong! You will find when you start surfing yourself, that most pages you are shown are a company's main website, usually accessed via a special affiliate link to identify which member sent the "visitor" to that company's site. Whilst a good Opportunity Page CAN get you some customers/referrals, it is not the BEST way to market on the Traffic Exchanges. By all means, add YOUR main Opportunity website, and your Home-Income-Team referral link into your Rotator if you wish, but understand this: Unless you are advertising pages that are designed to catch the visitor's attention and get them to give you their email address, you WONT see GOOD RESULTS! Here's a very well known Marketing statistic, which is true for both online and offline advertising: In general, a potential customer will need to be "exposed" to your offer/advertisement at least 5 - 7 times before acting on it. Therefore, when you flash your "opportunity" page at them in a Traffic Exchange, even if it is the most attention grabbing page on the internet, if you don't provide a way for them to leave their details, most likely they will just move on to the next site, lost to you forever. Sure, after 5-7 exposures to a particular opportunity website, this person MAY end up joining, but with the thousands of people advertising in the exchanges, what are the chances that it will be YOUR affiliate link, and not someone ELSES in the same company, that they sign up from? Remember, these people generally don't want to waste time RIGHT NOW reading all about your opportunity, and clicking here and there around your site to find the information they are after. No! They, like you and I, want to move on as quickly as possible to the next page in the exchange and earn another credit, and another visitor to their OWN site!But offer them something of VALUE, and provide a way for them to submit their details and receive the information LATER BY EMAIL and you stand a much better chance of gaining them as a new customer or referral to your business opportunity. Not only that, but you now have their email address, and permission to email them with more information (no spam complaints!) and can send them info about Home-Income-Teamor your main Opportunity, Product or Service (which you MUST do) and you can now do so - at least 5 - 7 Times!!! Are you starting to get the picture? So what do we offer them of value? Ask yourself this: from what you've learned so far, what is THE most important thing you need to succeed in any online business? LEADS! EVERYONE involved in internet marketing, from the complete newbie to the most successful Guru can always do with more LEADS. Read it during the commercial break when watching TV, take it with you when you go to the bathroom, whatever!
